Ncert numerical solution of friction

 Ncert numerical solution of friction

These are the question 's solution of ncert on friction

question 5.1
Given the magnitude and direction of the net force acting on
(a) a cork of mass 10g floating on water
(b) a kite skillfully held stationary in the sky
(c) a drop of rain falling down with a constant speed
(d)  a car moving with a constant velocity of 30 km/h on a rough road
(e) a high-speed electron in space far from all material objects, and free of electric and magnetic fields .

Answer

(a) here the cork having mass 10 g is floating on water so its weight is balanced by bouyant force . hence the net force acting on the cork is zero .
(b) since the kite is held stationery hence the net force acting on it is o
(c) As the rain falling downward with constant speed , hence according to newton first law of motion net force acting on drop is zero .
(d) since the car is moving with constant velocity so the net force acting on it is 0
(e) As the electron is far away from electric and magnetic fields as all material so the net force acting on it is 0
